"I went there on bike night, just to see what the brick and mortar store was like. I was impressed. The store was average sized, but the layout made for a lot of stock on hand. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable, and being able to actually try on the gear, makes it easier to order if you wanted the same gear in a different color. I recommend everyone go into the store. The prices are the same, and something can be ordered and shipped to you just like in the catalog, except you know it will fit the first time. I will go there for most of my gear needs. "

"I like the products but the sales people are very pushy!!! I can’t shop in peace without every couple of minutes a salesperson will holler across the store to see if you need anything, that’s all fine and good but then they come over and asks again 2-3 minutes later. I like to look at the products I buy, Do my own research about the products I purchase as I am the one who worked for the money to purchase said product and will be the one to have to live with the products I buy not a pushy salesperson!! I also purchased a set of tires once to install myself, they charged me for a disposable fee for old tires that I didn’t bring in.... I would say overall I enjoy the products cyclegear carries just not the service. The only exception is when one of the Managers is working, can’t remember the Gentleman’s name but he always is helpful and not pushy. "

"I seem to be in Cycle Gear at least every two weeks to get in stock parts or lubes or such. Any parts I have had to have ordered have been reasonably priced, and have arrived in a timely manner. All members of the Gastonia store are friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous, a few even know me by name now, which is a nice touch. They are always patient, and take time with myself, and my two boys. It is about a 50 mile round trip to go to the store, but the staff here make it worth it."
